The Manor House- Woodhouse Road, Quorn. Leicestershire.  Scored 17/20

Modern ‘pub’ serving exciting, seasonal, locally sourced European cuisine.  With ‘pub classics’, an a la carte menu and a ‘prix fixe’ menu there is something to suit most peoples budget.  High standard of cooking, good service, great atmosphere.  Well worth a visit.


 

The Griffin Inn- 174 Main Street, Swithland, Leicester. Scored 16/20
 
A traditional country pub in a beautiful location.  Varied menu, good honest food, great service.  Worth allowing yourself a few hours here to fully appreciate the surroundings, the venue and the food.
 
Ashfields Restaurant- 4 High Street, Earl Shilton, Leicester. Scored 16/20
 
A modern restaurant, serving simple but tasty food British food.  The generous portion size and the quality of ingredients used, makes this relatively expensive restaurant still good value for money.  Defiantly a place to go if you wanted to treat yourself or had something special to celebrate.
 


Thai Legend- 10 Leicester Rd, Quorn, Loughborough.  Scored 19/20
 
Thai Legend is a lovely little restaurant, serving exciting, authentic Thai food at reasonable prices.  Excellent service and excellent value for money.  Not to be missed.
 
 
The Gate Bistro .  Scored 15/20
 
If your after some quality steak or some exciting fish dishes then ‘The Gate Bistro’ on Braunstone Gate is well worth a try. Good food at good prices.
